Angela’s Odyssey

Image
Sorry this post is getting out late, this past week was insane. Anyways, I hope you’re all staying healthy and sane with this virus and quarantine thing going on. Scary stuff, but that’s why we have video games; to distract us from this world! Anyway, let’s begin with the review! Today I will be reviewing a short point & click game, available for free on STEAM. Said game is titled Angela’s Odyssey. This game is so stinking adorable! I’m not entirely sure of what the storyline is supposed to be, but that’s pretty much the only downside to this beautiful and brightly colored game. Plot-wise, what I do know, is that you follow a girl, who turns into a fox. That's it. That's all I know. In all reality, just knowing this about the story doesn't bother me, due to the fact that the rest of the game is really good! When I first saw this game, I was thinking it would be a controller/WASD controlled game, not a point and click. However, I think this works for the game,...

When the Darkness Comes

Image
WARNING: If you suffer from depression, anxiety, or suicidal thoughts, please DO NOT play this game. Also take caution if you suffer from epilepsy as there are several areas containing flashing lights.                  Well, now that the warning is out of the way, let’s talk games! By the way, I personally ignored this warning, but I did have an excuse. Gotta review games somehow! This “game” is more of an experience/walking sim, rather than a normal game, which I love. From my perspective, you are almost inside the dev’s brain. It starts off as a calm, but kinda odd, place to be, but eventually you see his true emotions come out.                 This game is complicated to explain, just...

Dadish

Image
I completely found this game by chance, and I'm so glad I did! It's short, it's sweet, and it reminds me of the original Mario games (style wise that is).      Dadish is a short adventure game, available for free on mobile devices. You play as a radish father, who falls asleep while watching his children. The children get distracted by a balloon and follow it, becoming separated from each other. When you awake, you realize your children are missing and must go on an extreme adventure to find them!      There are 10 levels for you to complete, each growing in difficulty. The levels are fairly short, and if you like the collection aspect in games, there is a star you can find in each level. The game controls are simple, having only to move left and right, as well as jump.      The graphics are adorable, making extremely cute characters. The game is full of bright colors, and ev...

๐ŸŽฎ IFYOO PC STEAM Gaming Controller Review ๐ŸŽฎ

Image
Looking for a gaming controller? Don't want to spend a lot? Want one that works well for beginners? Then the IFYOO PC STEAM Gaming Controller is perfect for you!             I had been wanting a controller for a LONG time, but I didn't want to spend a ton of money on one. I was worried though, that if I didn't pay a higher price, I'd get a cheaply made, crummy controller that barely worked. That's when I found this beauty.       When I stumbled across this controller on Amazon, I just had to look into it since it was within my price range. After spending close to an hour reading the reviews (granted there was a snack break in there) I decided to give this one a chance. A nice perk was that, if it didn't work, I could return it.       I was so excited when it was delivered (whoo-hoo one day shipping!!) and I couldn't wait to test it out. Luck was not on my side though, as I spent the day it a...

Top 10 Point & Click Games

Image
These are my top 10 favorite point & click games, available on STEAM! The Last Door series was going to be a part of this list, but I figured I had far too much to say about it to put it in a top 10 list. This list is just a basic one, as I will be going into more detail of the games I've chosen, when they get their own reviews (I'm basically just copying over what their STEAM pages say, because who better to explain it the the dev themselves LOL). It was really hard to choose, because point & clicks are some of my all time favorite games. 10. Fingered                       Fingered is an investigative police sim, where you have to take what the witness say and identify the right criminal. However, everyone has a different perspective, so who is right? Can you find the guilty man? 9. Shiver                 A beautiful and chilling point & click adventur...

3 Short but Sweet Games

Image
Under What?                          Under What is an extremely short point & click game available for free on STEAM. Play-through takes about 5 minutes, but those 5 minutes are interesting for sure. This game is beautiful to the eye, with a hint of a handrawn style and bright colors. There's not much to this game, other than a few questions you answer, all of which lead to the same end. It's an interesting plot for a game, and well developed in it's story. For the beginning and the end, the story is mostly told through pictures, rather than words. I do really enjoy this game, but I wish it gave me more. I wish it was longer and I wish there was more to do. It's a great time killer game, if you just want something short and simple to hold you over. What Never Was                            This game is absolutely adorable! When I downloaded...
