Top 10 Point & Click Games

Image
These are my top 10 favorite point & click games, available on STEAM! The Last Door series was going to be a part of this list, but I figured I had far too much to say about it to put it in a top 10 list. This list is just a basic one, as I will be going into more detail of the games I've chosen, when they get their own reviews (I'm basically just copying over what their STEAM pages say, because who better to explain it the the dev themselves LOL). It was really hard to choose, because point & clicks are some of my all time favorite games. 10. Fingered                       Fingered is an investigative police sim, where you have to take what the witness say and identify the right criminal. However, everyone has a different perspective, so who is right? Can you find the guilty man? 9. Shiver                 A beautiful and chilling point & click adventur...

3 Short but Sweet Games

Image
Under What?                          Under What is an extremely short point & click game available for free on STEAM. Play-through takes about 5 minutes, but those 5 minutes are interesting for sure. This game is beautiful to the eye, with a hint of a handrawn style and bright colors. There's not much to this game, other than a few questions you answer, all of which lead to the same end. It's an interesting plot for a game, and well developed in it's story. For the beginning and the end, the story is mostly told through pictures, rather than words. I do really enjoy this game, but I wish it gave me more. I wish it was longer and I wish there was more to do. It's a great time killer game, if you just want something short and simple to hold you over. What Never Was                            This game is absolutely adorable! When I downloaded...

The Supper

Image
I apologize it has been so long since my last post. Work has been insane and I haven't been able to play many games to review. Today is my day off, so I will be doing a couple reviews, to get my post count up.      The Supper is a short, free point & click game available on STEAM. My attention was first drawn to this game when I saw that YouTuber, MrKravin, had played it. Seeing as how he was the YouTuber that got me into gaming, I knew I just had to play it! Just based off his thumbnail for his play-through, it seemed like a game I'd enjoy. It has the pixelated art style I enjoy, it's point & click, and it has an adorable main protagonist.      In the game, you play as Ms. Appleton, an elderly woman who runs a restaurant with some unusual dishes. You start off the game with Ms Appleton taking a nap before her customers arrive. You have to prepare for them to get there by lighting candles and making sure the secret sauce is...

Wurroom

Image
Ever wonder what it was like to be on an acid trip? Ever wanted the sensation without having to do drugs? Well I present to you, Wurroom! (Just a PSA, I have never done drugs, I is a good girl xD)      Wurroom is a short, free, single player, point-and-click game available on STEAM. What originally caught my eye in this game was the art style. I'm a huge sucker for surrealism, and bright colors, and this game absolutely hit the mark! Each and every graphic and animation was handmade using Plasticine, which is basically a soft molding material. The complexity of several characters in the game shows incredible sculpting skill, as well as stop motion skills, with each action performed. The devs had to have had lots of patience and persistence to create such a unique work of art.      Wurroom was hatched from the unique minds of Michael Rifdshir and Serge Bulat. These creators have such an artistic ability, and an interesting th...

Wardwell House

Oh. My. Word. THIS GAME! I have absolutely no words for this game and how incredible it is! I has such a unique style and the atmosphere keeps you on your toes the entire time! It is honestly one of the best games I've played in a long time and I can't forget to mention, it's FREE!      The Wardwell House was created using real black and white pictures, and a program much like Facebook 360. This is a unique aspect to the game, and I've never seen anything like this before. It's a new twist on horror, and the 360 aspect of it makes the game seem even more tense, due to not knowing if something is behind you or not.      The overall story is that you are a man who has been stranded on the water for weeks. You wake up one day to find your small boat has landed on a island. You go off, looking for food and a place to rest, but on your journey, find several unsettling items and scenes in the woods. You find your wa...

Ballz - The Birth of a Gamer

Image
Oh my lanta, I'm sorry it has been too long! Life got hectic with the upcoming holidays and everything. I hope you all had a great Christmas and a happy New Year! To start off this new year, I thought I'd go back to the birth of my love of gaming!      Ballz played a huge part in my childhood, and the love of gaming. Most every Saturday morning, my father and I would go into the basement, fire up the Nintendo, and play Ballz. It's something I had always looked forward to, and now as an adult, it saddens me that we no longer do it, due to busy schedules and other things.      If you don't know, Ballz was a 3D fighting game, made for platforms like Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis. It was released in 1994 by Accolade and Media Rings. The game has three levels of difficulty and a total of 21 matches. There were nine characters to choose from, and five bosses to defeat.      I think what stuck with me most about this game, was the graphic...

5 Flash Games

Five Flash Games           So I haven't had a ton of time to play games recently, with work and all (YAY ADULTING!). So before work today I played a s few short online flash games available for free to the public. These games will be rated 1-5, five being my least favorite. Enjoy! 5: Nightmares of Leia Ray https://armorgames.com/play/34/nightmares-of-leia-ray            Nightmares of Leia Ray is a game that is available on several online sites. It's a short indie game developed by Luka_M, about a young woman, Leia. Leia was a young woman who was a victim of a car crash. The game practically plays out her visions/dreams just before she passes. However, that's not what my thoughts were.       I honestly, at first glance, thought the game was about a much graver topic; child abuse. This is my opinion, judging from the visuals, as well as notes and other things you have to interact with. The ...
