Margo Review
This game is adorable! Margo is a free point-and-click game available for free on STEAM. The whole game takes about 30 minutes to complete in the first run through. Any playthrough after that is fairly quick to get through, taking only 10-15 minutes to complete.
You play as Margo, a girl living on another planet who is dealing with the emotions behind her dearest friend leaving, but also the emotions with battling to tell her friend how she really feels about her. You continue along after dropping your dog off to spend one last night with your friend, meeting several interesting characters on your way to the library. The whole time, you can't help but think about your friend.
The game is very simple and not very long, with some puzzles, but I recommend playing through at least twice. I played a second time, simply to get an achievement I missed the first time and found so many little details and items I had initially missed.
The biggest thing I like about this game is the art style. It's cartoonish and trippy and reminds me of the 70s groovy style. The colors are bright, the concept is interesting, it has points that make you think, and it was just a fun little time killer game. I highly recommend this game if you're looking for something to just relax and wind down with after a long day of work or a stressful week.
